About Me
Welcome! My name is Ana M. Centurion and I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Psychologist and PsyPact-Authorized to practice within Florida and the other 40+ PsyPact States. I earned my bachelor's degree in psychology from St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, my master's degree in school psychology from Barry University in Miami, FL, and my master's and doctorate degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in health psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL.

As a licensed psychologist, I have learned that seeking help is only the beginning. The therapeutic relationship is extremely important as you work towards reaching your goals.
Some of my experiences include working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in areas such as ADHD, anxiety, bereavement, depression, and life stress. My approach in treatment is typically integrative, pulling from theories such as acceptance, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and solution focused therapies.

Losing a loved one is a difficult part of life and everyone manages loss differently. Understanding your own experience of loss or expected loss and how to communicate that with others is a primary focus when working through the stages of grief.
Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder can often lead to increased stress and hypervigilance. By understanding your individual symptoms and creating routines and structure, there is the possibility of feeling more in control and able to maintain your focus and attention.
Everyone experiences varying degrees of anxiety. Giving yourself the opportunity to recognize your personal concerns, fears, and worries is an important aspect in creating change to manage your symptoms of anxiety. "Life Happens" and sometimes we feel lost and stuck adjusting to changes and general life stress. Finding the right tools to put yourself in a position to get "unstuck" and win back areas of control you feel you may have lost.
Depression
When you find it difficult to complete daily chores and activities and often prefer to spend your time alone or pulling away from others, consider the possible presence of depression. Depression can often feel isolating, but it is important to remember you are never alone.
