My Approach
No two people are alike and as a result, each intervention style and identified objectives will be individualized to your specific needs and presentations. I use the intake sessions to get to know you, and in turn allow you to get to know me. At the beginning, I will ask you about what has brought you in to therapy, what you are hoping to gain from therapy, where you are in your life and what has led to this moment in your life. These questions help lay the foundation to the treatment plan.

In my years of practice, I have used skills and strategies from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Dynamics, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy
Research has proven that you have to take an active role in setting your own expectations and goals in treatment. We are more likely to stick to the plan, when we have created the plan. We will work collaboratively throughout the treatment process so that you can build your confidence as you approach different life experiences.

I look forward to working with you and joining you on your journey.
